VOLTRON:
In case you don't know of the Last Unicorn, I can understand. In 1982, the movie came out and had a very small advertising
budget. I remember I saw 1 bilboard in my neigborhood, 1 TV spot and only 1 critic reviewed it, gave it a good review too.
This is from the makers of YEAR WITHOUT A SANTA CLAUS and The two made for TV HOBBIT movies. The story is about the last
Uncorn who learns that all her kind has been rounded up by a monstrous giant bull and lead to a dead kingdom with a souless
King.
On the way she meets a cook for a bunch of Highwaymen and a side show wizard. Together they travel to find the unicorns
and stop the Red Bull, but when she confronts the Red Bull, her fear of fire overcomes her mission and panics, the Wizard
accidently turns her into a human to save her.
Now they must find the other unicorns, stop the Red Bull and return her back to a unicorn before she is human forver.
This has monsters and fights for the guys and a tender love story for the girls. It has great songs and dialog, the story
stands out as unique and I have watched it about 2,000 times since then. A great movie, a great soundrack from the group
AMERICA, let's face it. Just perfection in cinema form. You must watch THE LAST UNICORN.
