Some good has come from hype behind the new WAR OF THE WORLDS movie, coming in November WAR OF THE WORLDS: THE SERIES SEASON
1 is coming to DVD.
The series is a continuation of the 1953 George Pal movie. The plot is simple. It's been thirty-five years later and
somehow the Governments of the world were able to cover up this massive invasion from space. The bodies of the aliens who
gave into earthly bacteria was collected and placed in a toxic waste dump.
Communist Terrorist takes over this Toxic waste dump and in doing so exposed the aliens to radiation, which kills the
germs and resurrects them. Now radioactive and without they're weapons they blend in by stealing human bodies, killing the
host doing so.
Now it's up to a small commando team of scientists and soldiers to stop the aliens from retrieving other troopers and
weapons and finishing what they started so many decades ago.
This series had improved effects, it had a great cast, the stories are great and it's about damn time it got to DVD.
